    Dr. Lakshmi Deepti Urlam has been practicing as a physical therapist for 11 years. Dr. Urlam graduated with her Doctorate in Physical Therapy from the Emory University School of Medicine. She is fluent in English, Hindi, Telugu, and Kannada.

    Alain Tran, PTA

    Alain Tran, PTA, obtained his Bachelor’s Degree in Kinesiology from The University of Houston and his Associates Degree as a Physical Therapist Assistant from Houston Community College. Alain has been treating patients since 2005 and has gained a great deal of experience with handling a wide variety of orthopaedic and sports injuries. He has continued to enrich his clinical skills by completing courses for kinesiotaping and manual treatment for specific focus on the neck, back, shoulder, knee and chronic pain. Alain hopes to pursue future options in the field by continuing into a graduate Doctorate physical therapy program to further his growth and knowledge in the field.

    Alain’s passion for sports rehabilitation goes beyond the clinic as he’s involved in numerous competitive tennis and softball leagues. The rest of his time is devoted to his wife Adriana and his two high energy boys who are also very athletic. Alain has lived in the Sugar Land area for many years and loves to give back to the community by making everyone well to the best of his abilities.

    Muhsin Tabatabayee, student at the University of Houston C.T Bauer College of Business for a B.A. in Marketing. New to the field of physical therapy, Muhsin is enthusiastic about learning and instructing patients through their exercise. Muhsin plans to attend physical therapy school in the near future for a doctorate degree in physical therapy. Outside of the clinic, Muhsin loves to be active playing sports and training in the sport of boxing.

    Dr. Kevin Klecka, PT, DPT


    Licensed Physical Therapist Clinic Director

    Dr. Kevin Klecka (Dr. K!) received his doctorate training from Southwest Baptist University in Missouri. Dr. Klecka's area of focus is Orthopedics with a focus on manual (hands-on) Therapy. He believes in giving the very best treatment possible to his patients each and every day. Dr. Klecka is also an active athlete, with a love for playing Soccer. When he is not treating patients, Dr. Klecka is usually playing Soccer on various local intramural teams in the Houston Area.

    Licensed Physical Therapist Assistant

    Katie Perez is a Physical Therapist Assistant and also a Certified Personal Trainer and Corrective Exercise Specialist through National Academy of Sports Medicine. She also is certified in Instrument Assisted Soft Tissue Mobilization and Kinesiotaping. Katie has been practicing for three years in different areas of physical therapy working with all ages of patients from infants to geriatric in outpatient, aquatic and pediatric settings.

    Duc Pham is a student planning on attending a physical therapy assistant program. Duc graduated from the University of Houston - Downtown with a Bachelor's degree in biology and currently works as a technician where he helps patients achieve their physical therapy goals in order to get them back to living their lives to the fullest. In his free time Duc enjoys playing guitar and powerlifting.

    Dr. Sterling Carter graduated from the prestigious Langston University with a Bachelor's degree in Biology in 1993 and then returned for an additional Bachelor's degree at Langston University in Physical Therapy in 1997. Further enhancing his education with a post-professional Master's degree in Physical Therapy from Texas Woman's University with a focus in Orthopedics and a Clinical Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy from Simmons College. Dr. Carter has practiced as a professional physical therapist for over 17 years. He is a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist, a certification common with all professional sports level therapists, athletic trainers and coaches. A proud protector of his country, Dr. Carter has served over 22 years in the United States Army, primarily working as a physical therapist (both active and reserve status). Dr. Carter serves on the Board of Directors for Fort Bend Chamber of Commerce and St. Michael's Learning Academy. Dr. Carter's past military and life experiences have afforded him the skills and compassion needed in the healthcare environment. His care and concern for the well-being of people and dedication to excellence, quality, and results are apparent in his vision for this clinic. Most recently, Dr. Carter's commitment and enthusiasm has been recognized by his inclusion in Living Magazine's annual Top Docs magazine issue.

    Dr. Amir S Kazemi, PT, DPT, OCS, CSCS


    Dr. Kazemi participated in many team and individual sports since middle school. He played football up to his second year in college and then went on to compete in amateur level physique contests. He has a through knowledge of various types of orthopedic/sports injuries and their rehabilitation needs.

    Dr. Kazemi has been a clinical professor/adjunct clinical faculty with the physical therapy program at Old Dominion University since 2006. He is certified as a clinical instructor by the American Physical Therapy Association (APTA) and directs the Apex clinical education program; which provides orthopedic clinical rotations, for several U.S. physical therapy programs.

    Kelly graduated from Sam Houston State University with a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration in 2002. She furthered her education in 2007 with a Master's degree in Business Administration from the University of Phoenix. Kelly's 14 year tenure includes key leadership positions throughout the Texas Medical Center. Aside from that, she also has a strong background in health care administration, financial management, and human resources administration. Her future plans include obtaining her CPA credentials. Kelly has a huge heart and will go out her way to help anyone. She strives for excellence in all that she does. Her spare time is spent with family, traveling, and participating in church functions.
